Transitional housing is a supportive, yet temporary, type of accommodation meant to bridge the gap from homelessness to permanent housing by offering structure, supervision, support, life skills, education, and training.
Transitional Housing is an intermediate step between emergency shelter and permanent housing. We partnered with Hope Homes to obtain a 2-bedroom, 2-bath house in Mocksville to use for Transitional Housing. This program is the next step towards permanent housing for families that are successful in our shelter program. Eligible families can stay in this program up to three months while working with our case manager.
