Stephanie Chandler
Executive Director
Stephanie Chandler is a seasoned nonprofit leader with more than 20 years of experience in North Carolina’s nonprofit sector. Her career spans both development and program leadership roles across organizations serving refugees, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, seniors living with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers, and students in K–12 and higher education.
Stephanie has generated more than $1 million in funding by leading effective fundraising strategies, cultivating strong donor relationships, and securing major grants that drive mission-focused growth. Known for her strategic thinking, collaborative leadership style, and problem-solving skills, she excels at turning challenges into opportunities that expand organizational reach and deepen impact.
She holds an MBA from UNC-Greensboro and a BA in Biology from UNC-Chapel Hill.
Stephanie envisions a world where everyone has a roof over their head, food in the cabinet — and where coffee is always fresh-brewed and dark-roasted. When she’s not leading Family Promise of Davie County, she enjoys Jazzercising, exploring the outdoors with her husband, Don, spending time with her two grown sons, doting on three dogs, and adding to her ever-growing collection of houseplants.
