Stephanie Chandler is a nonprofit leader with more than 20 years of experience in the North Carolina nonprofit sector. She has worked in development roles and program roles in a variety of organizations that served refugees, seniors living with Alzheimer's and their caregivers, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and K-12 and college education, to name a few. She has generated over $1M in funding by leading successful fundraising strategies, cultivating donors, and securing major grants that fuel mission-driven growth. Recognized for her strategic leadership, problem-solving skills, and ability to empower teams, Stephanie specializes in turning challenges into opportunities that expand organizational reach and impact.

She envisions a world where everyone has a roof over their head, food in the cabinet, and clean clothes on their backs — and where coffee is always fresh-brewed and dark-roasted. When she’s not leading Family Promise of Davie County, you’ll find her jazzercising, exploring the outdoors with her husband Don, catching up with her two grown sons, doting on three dogs, or adding to her ever-growing collection of houseplants.

Michelle joined our organization as the Weekend Assistant in March 2018 and now serves as our Graduate Services Coordinator. Michelle has years of experience working in local property management. She knows there is a great need in our community for the homeless and their children. Michelle enjoys seeing the children we serve get so happy when they find new homes.
